Neck Pain

Causes of Neck Pain:

Whiplash

Occurs when the neck is thrown back and forth due to an external force (e.g. car accidents)

Symptoms - Severe Pain, Stiffness, may lead to nausea & dizziness

Disc herniation

Occurs as a result of some traumatic event or repettitive trauma

Symptoms - Pain, Stiffness, radiating pain in the Upper Extremity (one or both arms)

Muscle Spasm

Occurs as a result of poor posture or ergonomics in the office (e.g. holding the phone on one side) or may occur a s a result of sleeping in an awkward position

Symptoms - Pain, Stiffness
